Prepping gear can get expensive fast, and if you watch enough preparedness videos, it can start to feel like prepping on a budget is impossible, and you need thousands of dollars in equipment just to be ready. The reality is that many expensive items may never get used in an actual emergency.

I go through a wide range of low-cost survival and preparedness items, including water filters and storage containers, first-aid and trauma supplies, over-the-counter medications, and affordable cooking options.

Toward the end of the video, I’ll also share some of the best places to find good prepping supplies cheaply, including thrift stores, dollar stores, garage sales, and even places like Harbor Freight, where you can sometimes uncover great deals.
