The purpose of Prepping is to be able to survive in relative comfort in various situations that are beyond your control. Another way to look at Prepping is that it is being safe at home in times of crisis, whilst having the knowledge what to do if you need to “Bug Out”. At the very least Prepping is a must in these trying financial times with ever increasing prices causing us all hardship.
Prepping is very similar to living Frugally as it requires being organised, being able to plan and even searching for bargains to keep the costs down. It is basically being as prepared as much as you realistically can be for a variety of situations.
Let’s face it for the majority of us the scenarios are not normal But if you’re already frugal (for example for winters, existing from paycheque to paycheque etc.) then you are already half way to being a Prepper.
This is a Prepping Guide for Suburbian UK to help you cope and survive during extreme circumstances. It can help you regardless which country you live in. This is not a Survival Guide, Bushcraft Guide or a Homesteading Guide. It is a How to Prep Guide.
Prepping is a mindset, it is about being prepared for what could happen and to make sure you have done as much as you realistically can to keep safe. It is being prepared for the unknown. Anybody can be a Prepper.
